My last semester in FSV. One of the toughest mth I've been through this year.

A month of AFP2, Bluenose, Studio Recording & various modules assignments due dates & test

A month where my AFP GROUP been through the worse. Having our lens drop the 2nd time

A month where my Avid station 10 crash on me thrice

A month where my lights choose to play prank on me just when my studio live show started

Anything that can go wrong HAS gone wrong.

BUT it pull us all closer. I've made a bunch of friends in FSV that I truly treasure!

FEBRUARY 

The month I turn TWENTY-ONE! but yet was too overwhelm by my sch work to enjoy.

19th Feb - the last day of sch, the dateline for the last assignments & media law exam! haha

The month I went on a 5 days shoot as a logger for a Channel 5 Variety Show "SHOW DOWN!"

The month I wanna thank my then new CELL GROUP, N307 for their love & blessings!

2nd April - 1st day of "沸腾冰点" production. It was by far the 1st production that I really love. 

I had a wonderful director & AP to work with. Of which I really really thank GOD for this opportunity.

JULY 

Start of 小娘惹 production. It was truly an unforgettable experience. 

3-4 mths of hard work, swat & tears. Come to think of it. I nv regretted doing this show

Though it was a long, trying, tiring & plowing 3-4 mths. 

But it was an experience to work in such huge production. 

I've got the chance to tag along cooking lessons

I've got the chance to learn & understand Peranakan culture.

Been to many many ulu places in singapore to shoot. Places I would nv want to go to. Haha

Remember when I was just a kid. I was soooo glue to "豆腐街" showing on TV. Never would I think that I would have the chance to do something along that line? 

I still remember I was so amazed by all the images in "豆腐街". The war scenes, the clothes, the props etc etc. It has been 10 years? since Mediacorp does such Genre of show. So I'm glad that I'm involve somehow la.

3) 24th & 25th - Attended AP Course

10th OCT: Birth of Baby Rebekah!!

13th OCT: Started my new show <<未来不是梦>> as attached AP.

For this show I've  tried many different things. How exciting. 

1) Shoot on a yatch

2) Took a ride on a Speedboat

3) Took a ride on a Jet-ski

4) Been to an ulu Island

5) Had a fully overnight shoot (1830 till 0700)

6) Been to SIA hanger (place where they repair SIA planes)

7) Been on one of SIA plane & explore the entire plane! (even cabin crew sleeping area! =p)

8) Been to the PILOT area!! Where there are TONS & TONS OF BUTTONS!

(too bad I can't post those photos we secretly took, las we get SUE! :x)

9) Been to an engineering factory aka CLEAN ROOM where we have to be fully dress up in the "space suit wear" with mask, gloves & even goggles! 

22nd OCT: A random meet up for KTV with Miss P @ Kbox.

NOVEMBER

6th Nov: Watch "Beautiful Bitch" during German Film Fest with Miss P

9th Nov: Baby Rebekah's 1st month shower! (too bad I din take any nice pics!)

Went down Office and 客串 Christina's OB. It was a dancing competition scene film @ studio 1.

I was laughing like mad. Director was super funny!

Had loads of fun tat day. & I was robe in to be on screen :X GOSH!

The year 2008 was indeed a year of changes, a year of understanding myself, a year of letting go. It wasn't an easy year. 

In the beginning of the year, I'm still a full time student. 

Now, I'm already working full time.

Come to think of it. Time really flies. I've work full time for 9mths!

This year, through few circumstances, I've got the chance to understand myself & others a little more. Friends come & go. Bible says, there's a time & season for everything. I used to hang on to everyone that walks into my life. Thinking that they will stay & remain the same. But I was wrong. During different season, GOD places different ppl in your life to help u in one way or another. Some may stay for a lifetime, some may not. I've learnt to be thankful & appreciate the fact that they have at least step into my life once. 

This year, I've also step down as a helper from choir ministry. Its still the ministry I hold it closest to my heart. Its still a ministry & ppl that saw me through many years to who i am today. 

This year, I also wanna thank GOD for giving me a good friend in my very own industry. I realized i dun need a lot. But just one or two that stood by & will understand is really more than enough. I think its really important esp in this intense industry. 

I'm not sure what to expect in 2009. But I think it will be an exciting year ahead! =)

Today is the last day of "未来不是梦" production shoot. 

Was suppose to shoot from 1200 to 1630. 

But we manage to finish shoot at about 1400.

24th Dec 2008 - TUESDAY

1) Headed down to Old airport road hawker

Reason: Brought ping hui's his xmas gift from Jesseca & me. Guess what we bought?

WHY!??? Becoz ....  He's a clean freak, thus we came up with this really silly idea! 

When Jess & I thought of this idea, We laugh out heads off. Gosh! *now its no longer funny la*

2) Headed down town to search for the present 4 my Gift Exchange. I had one of the EASIEST thing to buy. When I first saw the 3 wishes my friend wish for. I BURST OUT LAUGHING.

25th Dec 2008 - WEDNESDAY

I was totally exhausted. Come to think of it, I hardly rest recently. Either work or spent the night hanging out. I desperately needed more sleep! Suppose to wake up at 9am. I snooze till 12pm. BRILLIANT! muahaha. 

Attended & serve the first & only xmas svc this year. Pretty simple & nice. 

Brought my camera on stage! =)

Went to a Jap restaurant @ Marina Square with Cell.

Was suppose to meet Miss P for movie after svc. But both of us happily thinks that we will call each other when we're done & ready to watch. By the time I call her. We're too lazy to meet =p 

Thus I ended up eating & watching movie with my cell! 

while we were making our way to Suntec from Marina Square.

Clement & I got force into "Kenko" for fish spa by sean & estella! 

Look at the amount of fish near my leg!! Gosh! 

Caught "Bedtime stories" With cell. After which, few of us headed down Geylang for Yong He's tau Huey. And thats the end of my beautiful & simple xmas.

18th Dec 2008 - THURSDAY

Cell xmas gift xchange.

Skipped candle-light svc on sun. Oh my gosh ... Haha

But I was really exhausted after sat's overnight shoot. 

We literally shoot from 黄昏to天亮. 

We set off at abt 1830pm, we shoot all the way till 630am.

By the time I reach home its already 9am and I slept all the way till 4pm.

Woke up, I had a major headache and for the first time in my life, I felt the whole entire house was turning in circles. :x 

And guess where is my overnight shoot @?? 

Old Changi Hospital. I can't believe i stay there for 12 hrs. haha

@ 5am in the morning i think?

22nd Dec 2008 - MONDAY

It was a sweet sweet day. Despite the fact that I has yet to recover from the exhausted days.

I received 2 xmas gifts !! unexpected ones!!

1) Early in the morning @ close to 7am. Xiang yun jie caught me and gave me a present. she was really really sweet. Thereafter, she text me a really sweet msg. *touched*touched*

2) Next was an xmas gift from my director, Lye Ling! A precious moments card holder. =) 

Shoot manage to finish @5pm. Chiong down to Arab street b4 they close at 6pm to buy more crystals. It so happen that Jesseca also plans to go bugis area. Thus we ended up chionging last min xmas gift @ bugis. 

While shopping @ MUJI. We came across something that sparks our oh-so-very-creative mind. We came up with a BRILLIANT gift idea for our Mr Tay Ping Hui. I can't wait to see his reaction upon opening the gift! Stay tune for videos & pictures! Muahaha. *EXCITING*

After few hrs of walking round n round. We ended up indulging on ice cream @ Aijisen! 

      

OH! and I met ALMOST the entire world @ Bugis that day! :x I bum into ...

I'm shocked/amazed/bewildered @ the amount of food I ate unknowingly. 

Here's what I had for DINNER... (my colleagues are amazed)

1) $4 - prawn noodle

2) Ice milo

3) 2 prata kosong

Ended shoot at 1230am. Went back office & off we go for SUPPER

and Here's what I ate for SUPPER

1) A bowl of rice

2) 6 side dishes (ate a little of everything)

3) 2 chicken wings

4) A glass of barely

Say WOW!!! *applause* 

I'm getting a little high, I'm worried about the overnight shoot LATER. 

5pm to 5am ... I'm going CRANKY! 

I'm in the midst of my end-of-the-year post. Muahaha. 

The long-winded me has lots to say ... =p

A few ask me what I want for xmas! Muahaha. Though this year isn't a year that will be pack with doing things that I love(or rather) used to do for the past few years. 

I'm not caroling, not singing for any big days etc etc. Maybe not even appearing during xmas week. Just maybe my very own xmas svc? It led to lots of year-end thoughts. 

But yet again. I do appreciate the "sudden" break of all these "norms"? 

Away from the otherwise busy busy xmas. 

Which means, I have time to gather my thoughts and really enjoy this Giving season. Making effort to spend this special season with different group of friends whom I treasure.

Last week was yet another INDESCRIBABLE week.

But the past 2 days makes up for all the unhappiness for the entire week. 

14th Dec 2008 - Sunday

I'm the bad girl ... I skipped svc :X 

I was dead tired after sat late night shoot. Thus I slept in till 12pm? 

Initially I still planned to cab down, but I guess I was totally SPACE OUT? 

1) wedding dinner @ Intercontinental Hotel - Bugis (Mr & Mrs Shaun Tay's) 

2) super random very last minute meet up with Miss P. 

Miss  P was having shoot & thus I had no plans on meeting her.

But her shoot ended early and thus she drove down to meet me. 

We have a brief 2hr chilling session @ TCC outside Intercontinental Hotel 

A very good one indeed. Think that 2 hrs is just all that we need. 

THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY was 

1) Shaun Tay's Wedding dinner (I'M ULTRA HAPPY FOR HIM)

2) That 2hrs spent with Miss P

15th Dec 2008 - Monday

I HAD A BLESSED DAY - I THINK I'M VERY BLESSED!

I woke up thinking I haven slept and that was half true! 

I couldn't get to slp. and within the 4hrs of slp that I have, I was awoken by 

some funny noises 3TIMES! 

Still, I met Miss P for breakfast - We ended up at "HANS" @ Thomson Plaza

Headed back to Office together - I have studio, she has dubbing. 

1) Bum into Xiang Yun Jie @ canteen, she stopped me & bought me an APPLE PIE! 

(It was totally unexpected of her to do so. She say she just wanna treat me eat!)

2) Was halfway through my studio. A dear colleague of mine bought me black sesame paste!! 

(It was totally unexpected of her to do so tooo!) 

THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY WAS 

1) Breakfast with Miss P

2) Apple Pie from Xiang Yun Jie

3) Black sesame Paste from Winnie 

one word: BLESSED 

some may think that its just small peanut blessing, its nothing. 

BUT to me, its something, its the GESTURE, the THOUGHT, the EFFORT.

its enough to bless my heart.

My week was indescribable ...

Found no suitable vocabulary to describe my week ... 

6 Full day work week was a challenge to my physical body 

Out of the 6 days, many interesting, shocking, mind blowing?, happening, heartbreaking events that took place that kills all my brain cells? It was a challenge, mentally n emotionally. 

CONCLUSION: My job is not suitable for the FAINT-HEARTED

(of which, I think I'm categorized under the "Faint-hearted" species)

By sat I felt like a living zombie (yes, I shouldn't complain, I din do much, my AP would be 100 more times tired). oh well. 

But I was glad that despite my tiredness, I attended Audrey's 20th bday party @ her house after work. 

In fact I was looking forward to it! Man, am I glad that I went? Absolutely! =) 

The joy,fun,laugher. Its all worthwhile! =)

Needless to say. I MISS MY 10KM standard chartered run! ZOMG!

Went down town to look for my cell after dialect svc.
