Its crazy ... 

After last 5 days of Asia Conference

(waking up early, putting and removing thick thick make up, reaching home close to 3am every night after conference)

MON(24th nov)

The Mon immediately after AC, I had a whole day shoot. 

Its a fire drill scene and thus I was under the sun for many many hours. 

TUE(25th nov)

I had my shoot on a yatch and on some ulu island. Thus yet another day under the big hot sun. 

WED & THURS

Shoot was indoor. Thank goodness, I cannot be more burn. :x 

FRI(28th nov)

Was OFF on Fri! Whooo!

Lunch buffet @ Holiday Inn Park View Hotel with Miss P. 

(Its a luxury to take your time and really enjoy the company and the food)

Headed down Suntec and shop for close to 6 hrs! :p

Went down starbucks @ weelock to meet up with Audrey, Marcus & Ke song.

(And yes! Audrey is back in SG for holiday!) 

SAT(29th nov)

Full day shoot @ a hospital (damn cold). I guess this is where I got my flu from. 

SUN(3oth nov)

The moment I woke up, i felt something amiss. I know its coming. 

Still I pulled myself out of bed, grab my laptop and tks to my cell member who offer to send me to church. Head was heavy, eyes were puffy, nose were running. It got worse halfway through the sermon. 

I'm declared half dead. Down with a terrible flu & fever. :x 

I'm worried about next week. 

I have a mixture of OB & Studio for 6 consecutive days! 

GOD I need your strength!

In just a short span of 10 hours? I've travelled on a speedboat, Jet-ski & yacht to an unknown island. =) Brilliant! =)

I was just playing with my camera and I took this. 

The moment I saw it, It immediately reminds me of "BLUE NOSE"! 

ARGGGHH! (only FSV post-production peeps will understand!) 

Caught the 1st two eps of "小娘惹" the past days. Hmmm, turns out not too bad. Just that its a little slow. It kinda broke the viewership record thingy. (nt surprising la). hmmm have to say some shots are really nice la.

Watching it really makes me think and reflect. Felt so bad for not helping my AP much. Din do a gd job la. But come to think of it, it should be an honor being involve in such a huge production. It was truly an experience la. After all, the last time mediacorp did such show was 10 years ago? oh well, wonder what would I feel when Ep 11-20 is aired on TV. 

My dearest sis is so sweet. She came and told me that she watch "小娘惹" to support me. haha (not that I've acted in any scene or neither am I any big-shot that is involve in this drama la), but I understand the meaning behind the sentence. I was moved. =) 

* A very long post *

I must say that God is really a gentleman. He doesn't push/force something down your throat when you doesn't want it. After disappearing for a moment, God has His way of bringing His ppl back. Showing you His love in a gentle way. Often leaves you with the choice - to follow or not to follow. Why do I say that? 

Initially I was supposed to work on MON - SAT from 8000 to 1830 during Asia Conference week. Which means I will only be attending Asia Conference on Sun ONLY. BUT God somehow wanted me to go so much that He did a miracle. 

1) Wed shoot miraculously ended close to 5pm. Back at office by 5.30pm. One of my colleague who stays in the east is willing to share cab with me despite the peak hour charges. Thus I manage to squeeze myself into Hall 8 & attended the opening session.

2) Both THURS & SAT shoot was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

3) I took leave on FRI many many weeks ago

And that means I'm able to attend all sessions for Asia Conference. (Though I did not attend most of the morning sessions) But I believed this is not just coincidence but God-incident!

Anyway, I really did enjoy myself the past 5 days. Its serve as a good break (though I wun say its resting). Coz I'm so tired ! LoL. Just making up and removing make up kills me brain cells. LOL. But it was refreshing, back to basic moments & great time of catching up! 

Thanks the many many ppl that recently commented that i've grown prettier! muahaha (thanks a zillion for the encouragements!) Thanks to the ones that commented that I've slim down! (jus nice its the opp actually!) anyway, U PEEPS MAKES MY DAY! =) 

TODAY!

I was half a zombie @ work today under the big hot sun shooting a fire drill exercise with 40 over extras! Slept for close to 4 hrs is a no no for such shoot! :X I think I'm too used to the hot scorching sun that I din even know that I was burnt. :x 

Haha! 3rd post in 1.5 days! Tat explain how bored free I am. :p

Was browsing through websites and came across one that has xmas song playing in the background. Den I realized, Xmas is drawing near! And that kinda strike me ... 

Xmas used to be my FAVORITE season, day, festival of the year. 

I love writing cards after cards (used to give up more than 50 cards)

I love making small gifts, wrapping gifts, hand-made gifts etc etc 

I love receiving CARDS and gifts as well. Its a warm feeling.

Xmas used to be a super busy but yet very fulling day of the year. 

Having to serve in almost every svc in church, going round many places such as orchard road, Esplanade, Vivo city, IMH etc etc for caroling.

I especially love the performing part. Seeing audiences dancing and singing along with you, giving out sweets to kids, those smiles on the face are so GENUINE. 

But past few years, I had no idea what robs away the joy that I used to have for all these?

Maybe my 3 years in poly days, xmas week is ALWAYS the project deadline/common test week. Thus I can't fully enjoy coz there is this burden/stress of unfinished projects/test at the back of my mind. 

This year, I guess my xmas week will be pack with shoots after shoots?

No longer will I be able to commit as much as I used to be

No longer will I be able to enjoy performing as much as I wanted to

I still remembered last year, instead of performing, instead of enjoying ... 

I'm standing far away from a distance looking, pondering, hoping I'm one of the happy singers singing away. The sacrifice I have to make I guess? 

Things have change I guess ... very much change ... 

Will this year be yet another lonely xmas?

A week since I last updated! 

Have been chiong-ing shoot almost everyday. Its a little physically demanding at times esp night OB. None-the-less I still consider myself having a great week last week. 

THURSDAY - 061108

Shoot ended way earlier than expected. Was really rejoicing deep within. The past few days, we have been shooting in a small 3-room flat in Geylang area that is super cramp and there is like close to 20 ppl in the house itself. I was feeling sooooooo claustrophobic.

Thus I really glad shoot ended early and that I can enjoy a good dinner before heading for a movie. Texted Ms P and was so glad that she came back office to fetch me. *blessed* 

Headed down to Coffee Club @ Redevous Hotel for dinner. We both loved that coffee club branch, becoz there's hardly anyone around! Finally away from crowds. Phew! And thus, I had a beautiful night watching "Beautiful Bitch". One of the film from German Film Festival. (Though it was pretty depressing show, but I would say great acting skills and story plot) 

* I miss watching foreign films! I miss Film history Class!* 

FRIDAY - 071108

I dunnoe what got into me, but I agreed to watch "Madagascar II" with my cell. I should be dead tired already. I guess my mind and body was disconnected for a moment while making that decision. Went home after OB to change. Thankfully one of my cell mates came and fetch me. Goodness, I guess that few days of OB drains my body battery. By friday night, my battery only left like 10%? and guess what? I HIBERNATED in the cinema. 

Seriously, I had never felt soooooo tired in a movie b4. The moment I went into the cinema, my eyes are closing. I slept & woke up countless time throughout. So ask me about "Madagascar II", I had no comments! :b

(Not that I'm involve, but I do hope I can attend) 

After all, it will be a memorable time looking back at those really talented ppl ever since channel 8 started. It was said that this gala is a reunion of drama,news,variety starts from 45 years ago. Its gonna be a record breaking of more than 200 stars in a single TV show. Oh well, it will be an interesting event I guess.

Meanwhile I should enjoy my 2 days of short break! =)

What a great way to start the week ... I'm down with fever + flu. 

Thank goodness today's dance lesson at O-school was cancelled. 

Just in case u are wondering ... Nope, I'm not taking dance lesson, was just suppose to go down o-school to monitor ah Nat, Dawn and Joey dancing. 

I have been lying on my bed for the past 5 hours. Felt totally useless and a waste of time. Not like I have tons of things to do. In fact I din have anything to do. But just didn't like the feeling of doing nothing. Thus decided to post a random blog. 

31st oct

Last Friday, I had a great day out shopping(or rather, window shopping) & chilling with Ms P.

1st stop: Taka branded shopping. I still prefer the classic LV series. Anyway, my eyes set upon a BEAUTIFUL bag from Agnes B and DKNY and a BEAUTIFUL wallet from Clavin Klein! Oh God, Its just sooo beautiful. 

Spent close to 3 hours lunch-ing, chilling, chit-chatting in a Jap restaurant @ taka. It was a blessed afternoon to be able to have some time out to enjoy life like this! =) 

I was looking for wallets and decided to go over Heeren's Fossils to take a look. Was a disappointment. Fossils used to have quite pretty wallets of good quality. Headed back Taka and drove over to LIDO. The first thing I saw was the DKNY bag that I'm eyeing. Ms P says its a sign! OooPs

But she came up with a pretty good logical theory. Be it a pretty or ugly wallet you only take it out when you are paying etc, other than that, it always stays inside your bag. But a pretty bag, u carry on the outside, everybody sees it everywhere u go. Logical man. 

Walked Ms P back to the car park and this is what we saw. 

The whole car is decorated with Hello kitty and Hello Kitty alone. Our very first reaction is: "OMG ITS SO DAWN!" Every single thing inside the car has got something to do with hello kitty. I'm amazed. Even the hand brake has got hello kitty cover!! 

Ok, this is not the first time I saw such car. I saw it on roads quite a couple of times, but I guess its the first time I really walk around and patrol the car and take a close look at everything inside the car. I was damn amazed. :X Ms P ask if I will sit in such a car, I hesitated and replied: "yeah, provide me with cap and a huge sunglasses, I will." :x 

I showed Dawn this photo yesterday and she told me yet another amazing thing. She said this is not as powerful as the one she saw. 听说:

Here in Mediacorp, there is a staff that drove a PINK colour car decorated with Hello Kitty stuff (as much as the pic above or even more). and the best thing is, IT BELONGS TO A MALE DRIVER !!!!!! I should go round Mediacorp car park and spy on it. Hopefully I could snap a pic of that pink car & maybe even the driver! :x

Watched "Blindness" with my cell after Ms P went back. It was a good show I would say. Its meaning within meaning. There is no concrete reason as why the ppl goes blind etc. But I like the way the Director uses Subjects to tell the story or to explain subtle meaning to the film. The character development was great too. It dares to venture into the human nature & behavior. The shots are artistically done. Its not just the normal, set up tripod, point and shoot kind. Its not a typical feel-good movie, Which I think that's why many ppl can't appreciates it. Especially Singaporean. LOL. Too used the normal chic-flick or typical Jack Neo kind of style. Which is kinda sad, coz once the film explores a little more deep into other aspects, ppl dun gets it nor appreciates it. 

 

Meanwhile, I have got to pray that I will be well by tonight! Its the start of my war period. (after much slacking). I have Shoot all the way from TUE to FRI and SUN. I need to be well! 

 At June & Brandon's Wedding matrimony

I miss talking to this woman. Beautiful woman inside out =) 

And so, I attended June&Brandon's matrimony this morning. Felt quite honoured to be invited.

After all I wasn't very close to her at but she has been an inspiration to me over the few years. 

Her wedding was really sweet. She gave out a "Thank you" list to everyone.

Which I thought was a pretty pretty sweet idea/gesture. 

That gave me an idea too. I too decided to do up a "Thank You" list.

(Nah, I'm not preparing to get married ok :x) 

Just that I'm in the midst of planning something for my 22nd bday next year. 

(ya, I know ppl usually plan for their 21st, I kinda choose to be different la :b haha) 

Talking about hair. Quite a few ppl that just came back from Malaysia(after filming xiao niang re) commented that my hair grew really fast. Initially I din really felt my hair grew fast. Not until I caught a behind-the-scene video on xiao niang re's website den I realize how short my hair was then! :x 

I'm thinking of revamping my online shop. Suddenly had tons of ideas and some lobangs etc etc.

But I'm lazy. I'm just damn lazy to maintain. :X 

Anyway, I've finally piece everything together for my livejournal. I have been leaving it there for months. Now its up! I'm considering moving my blog there! =)
