Haven been commenting on those movies I've watch recently ... 

Decided to do so as I was a little bored editing AFP#2. 

Yes, hear me and hear me well ... LOL. I"m back to edit my AFP#2 again!

And guess what? I just realize that I have to finish my fine fine fine cut by Tue

due to the job I doing from Wed-Sat(7am-7pm). :p The reality hits lol. 

I guess I will be missing the screening of all the AFP projects.. So sad ! 

JUNO

Went to watch JUNO with shibs, Ben and Kavin somewhere last week? 

Its just such a simple story, but yet it touches you in a way or another?

Issues, struggles etc was just so real (of coz special mention to the acting)

The characters are all well developed throughout the whole movie.

And the soundtrack is oh-so-nicely fit in the scene! 

Simplicity. 

Oh and I just love how we discuss each movie after every movie session! :)

PS: I love you

Story wise not fantastic .. hmm, I would say the story din have peak etc etc

But yet it was another simple but yet so so so real .. 

The Struggles, arguments, getting over the death of a loved one etc

(Maybe thats y all arguments are shot handheld lol) 

It makes me think how fragile our life can be

Its really quite a bliss to have a little time off from everything. Time off from sch work totally.
When I say totally I mean TOTALLY. lol . It feels good to...

Oh !! And I DROVE today !!! hahahahha .. I really did !!
Chilli intro me to his private driving instructor, and he has been contacting me to start lesson. Have push back quite a few times. Today felt bad and thus decided to give it a try. Anyway, I skipped my basic theory exam twice. LOL and he says that He will drive me to Ubi to sign up and then drove me to Jurong East. Thought that was quite a cool deal. :p

So we arrive at some ulu street at Ubin. He started explaining every single thing u can see in the car? Den he say, okie, now you give it a try. So .. I jus hop on the driver seat (nt as if I never try b4 mah). So I jus keep practicing going straight and reverse for a few times to get myself familar with clutch and gear. going forward and move to gear 2 etc. Then he ask me to start off eveyrthing by myself and do what he tells me to do.

So I step in the clutch, shift to gear one, started moving slowly, den I step on the accelerator and it move forward. I was waiting for him to ask me to step on the brake as I was approacing the main road! But he din, he say dun stop !!! Shift to gear 2. It Got freak out for a second but i continue.

Den from that road, I turn left to the main road!! and den I passes 2 traffic lights, turn right and go all the way to Ubi dring centre !!! Gosh ..  My very first time driving out! lol 

Sigh, guess I can't start learning driving till I found a job I guess ...

Just got hm from choir prac. Was just thinking to myself, how I wish I could really bo hue certain things. Reach the highest art of bo hue-ness. Izzit = to numness? Anyway ... main point is,

Okie, I know I should be focusing on my media law exams tml ... Grrr
But the more I think that its an open book exam, the more I dun feel like studying :p

I really love taking pictures. Pictures speaks. Sometimes dun you find some stuff just jump out wanting your attention. This has been trying to get my attention.

Just listening to songs through my Itunes(been a long time since I listen any songs from my laptop). And this song just jump out on me when Its being play back. Never knew I had this song. Rather, I have never heard this song before.

Finally I'm done with one exam, Regional Cinema !! WhooOooOot! 
This is the 1st time we took an exam in the 3 years of our poly education! lol
The last time I ever saw such formal looking exam paper is during my O'level ...
And I guess no one wants to go into details about this exam anymore. lol. :x

My long awaited package from US finally arrived. Actually, its consider fast enough. Alrights.

Went home after R.Cine exam. Decided to change out to something more slack
(wore jeans etc to exam as I'm afraid that there are some funny funny rules on dresscode)
Thus, decided that its gonna be a dress down, feel good day and head out to Haji lane!
Was suppose to be alone but decided to call ziling and pull her along with me :p
And we totally enjoy and took some really nice photos !! And oh .. did I ever tell u I'm a fan
of vintage stuff? lol.. Totally immerse myself in those shops, jus that vinatage stuff are so ex :x

Just wanna say .. I'm glad that almost everything is going to be over soon ... Guess this has been the most fun years/semester in the entire FSV? Partly becuz I become more open as compared to those times when I was in year 1 & 2 ba. lol. I've glad that we've all somehow manage to go through all these!! LoL ... (ok, last lap media law! haha)

Now as work load are getting lighter. Its time for me to focus on some other things and settle some other things? haha

As much as I try to pull myself back on track ... As much as I pull myself back to the basic.
Back to the first love. I guess, no one can help much, only me, myself and I.

Its really back to the basic. I'm reminded on how He got me into FSV. The favour and the blessing. Its back to the basic time. I guess so many #$%^&*()&%$#$ things happen, what more can bring me down? Be it I loose a friend or a grp of friends anot ... 
Since all these are already happening ... If i'm really loosing a friend/grp of friends .. Just let me know. Tell me ... And let me go through it once and for all and move on.

as you can see, the package is now at Don Muang (God knows where is this palce?)

There is so many politics going on and every war etc affects the industry in a way or another.

I especially love black and white pictures ... They are BEAUTIFUL !

The online suite.The place where all post pro students hate.5 monitors in front of you and all of them are not calibrated.So you are literally looking at 3 different sets of colour in front of you when you are doing online.A huge remote control in front of you, a sound console beside plus the vision mixer.It can be really intimidating especially when something goes wrong.You have to really ask WHERE EXACTLY IS THE PROBLEM??

Think CNY is a good break for me and this year, CNY kinda falls at the right time

It falls right after my 2 crazy weeks ... Whooots! 

I dun usually have the tradition of eating reunion dinner, going Bai Nian and everything

Thus CNY is like a hibernation period (though I am trying nt to hibernate too much)

Yest, I had a movie marathon .. There are a few films that I wanted to watch

But always finds no time to . 

Borrowed these movies for the longest time, but it has been lying on the floor, left untouched 

"Howls moving castle" by Hayo Miyazaki 

"Amelie"

"The wedding singer"

"In Good company" 

Thus, I had a movie marathon. 

Watched "Howls moving castle". Its nice !! I'm not an anime fan. Not a cartoon, fantasy kind of person. But I thought this film was pretty cool. And fyi, there is only few such genre i like and surprisingly its all directed by Hayo Miyazaki !! "Princess mononoke", "Torotoro", "Spirited Away" and "howls moving castle". It rocks ! 

Den I finally get to watch "Amelie". Borrowed from friend, but haven got the time to watch it.

And guess what? My dad have already watch it even before I watched it ! Gosh! Thats amazing. Though I highly doubt he understand anything. :P Still .. He watched it before I do !!!! 

Den I finally touch my "Greys Anatomy"  !! LOL 

And at night, went out to watch "Ah long pte ltd" 

If you want me to type a whole chunk of report, I can do it easily. 

There's just too many things to say! LOL 

In a nut shell, its yet another go-in-sit-and-laugh show. 

Again, no maturity in terms of shot styles and everything. 

Story has no focus point? Typical pin pointing govt in a nicer way

Seriously if he continues doing such films over and over again,

People will soon get bored

Every show feature the same old "funny characters", telling the same old kind of jokes in slightly different way.

In a nutshell again, its just another show that helps me argue my thesis statement for regional cinema. :P 

ahh.. talking abt regional .. Maybe I should start studying regional ..

Exams next week !!! :p

Of which, my station choose to die on me and thus I doubt i will be able to finish

Nonetheless, I am still very happy that all these datelines are finally over. Though editing for AFP "memories" is still going to continue. 

And yes, I am very happy that today I had the whole entire day to myself !!

thus, i slept at 5am this morning and woke up at abt 5pm. Shiookness.

Honestly, I have never felt so tired before ... The tiredness i felt (even though i catch a 2-3 hrs slp daily) is way more compare to times when I overnight and never sleep for 48hrs. 

Tsk tsk. 

Den again, am so gonna make use of today's time to

Pack my room (that has been in a mess due to my busyness)

Resettle ALL my choir att (that was in a mess now due to all the new svcs)

Dig out and pack my Media Law lect & tut notes & Regional cinema notes

Gosh, this two weeks I realizes that I do not have much spacing left to store anything

2 thumbdrive - 95% full

1 harddrive - 100% full

House desktop - 95% full

Own laptop 90% full

So this few weeks I have to covert my 8Gb MP3 player to a hard drive. Tsk tsk

Thus, in a nutshell, I need a new hard drive !! I need at least 160Gb? 

Den again, I my as well invest in a 500Gb hard drive.  LOL.
